Do We Know a Locksmith?

Being married to Clayton is always an adventure. I have said before that I feel I have to follow him around and apologize for all the random things he says and does. One such experience has to do with this card.

Two weekends ago, we were heading out the door to go bowling with some friends that we will mention later in this blog. Clayton decided to lock the door knob and shut the door thinking he would just lock the deadbolt with his key. Yes, the same key that was INSIDE the house! So our friends Paul and Tammy got right to work trying to break into our windows. Then we called Eli. Candace came with her phone book and priced a few locksmiths for us, but Eli got out his Fraternal Order of Police supporter card and went to work. Clayton took over working on it. While on the phone with our Bishop, asking for a locksmith in the ward, Clayton magically got us back into our house. Lucky us. Like I said, always an adventure. We went on to have a fun night bowling with Paul and Tammy.

This weekend, we had the fun job helping Paul propose to Tammy and I got to be there taking pictures of the whole event. It was very sweet to watch and we are so excited for them. We are glad we got to help.

Explanation of the previous blog.

While I was serving in Italy, I served an american branch. One day we decided to have fun while we were on the compound, so my companion and I tried to break into the nuclear arms bunker. Low and behold we were caught and the local newspaper took this picture. Okay as cool as that sounds it didn't happen like that. The guy with the gun is Rian Marshall and his wife was taking the picture. We thought it would be a cool picture and well it turned out to be pretty fun to take the picture. Yes the gun is real, I really was handcuffed, and my companion Elder Burt who will read this blog was about to cry.

Trouble

So yeah we are going to Italy. We find it hard to sleep at night. My mind starts going crazy thinking about what we're going to do and all that stuff. Michelle is just too excited to sleep. Then today I got a reminder of a funny picture that was taken while on my mission. Funny that someone would be there to take a picture of the whole event.

Conference, Turning 23, and Finals!

So yeah we have been slackers, but it hasn't been because of laziness. Over conference weekend we were able to attend the Solemn Assembly and see Mark"s Grandpa become the Prophet. That was awesome to be there and feel the spirit. For Clayton it had been his first time in a session, so that made it even more special for him. Right after the saturday morning session we flew down to Fairview and listened to conference and took Clayton and Randy to Mt. Pleasant so they could watch the preisthood session. While they were in preisthood Judy and I took a tour of Ephraim, Spring City and Mt. Pleasant. Boy was that a long tour. Just kidding, It was cool to see where Judy grew up and everything. Then Sunday we listened to the morning session at the cabin and rode the 4 wheelers a little and headed home during the afternoon session. Clayton was sure they were going to announce the Italy temple but I guess we will have to wait another 6 months. (I guess his revelations aren't coming through so clear.)Then you guessed it I turned 23 years old. Holy crap I'm old, or atleast I think I'm old. For my birthday I got alot of cool stuff and money from others, but my favorite gift is the glider that Clayton and his mom and dad bought for me. I have wanted a glider forever and finally got one. For my B-day we went to Mimi's Cafe and then shopping at the mall (Clayton really gets me.) Then we just relaxed this weekend. Oh yeah for all of you who forgot it was my birthday don't worry I'm not mad (whatever of course I'm pissed off.)Last, but not least, it has been boring around here. Clayton is studying like mad for finals because he didn't study durning the semester so he is craming all he can into the next 2 weeks and then guess what is 18 days from now, yep Italy here we come!!!!There is your long overdue update on the Berg Adventures.
